frequently asked questions!!

Q. will you upload your covers to spotify/apple music?
~
A. unfortunately no!! uploading things to apple music/spotify works different than youtube or soundcloud and there's a lot more issues with copyright etc. but we do always upload mp3 versions of our covers in a google drive!! you can find the links individually in the video descriptions or in our channel links on youtube!

Q. do you have a discord server/will you ever make a discord server?
~
A. we don't have any plans to ever create a discord server, a few reasons factor into this but the main reason is that we spend a lot of time on our covers every day and struggle with our respective health conditions and we don't have the time or the energy to be able to manage or talk in our own discord server, and it just wouldn't be in our best interests in general

Q. can i reupload/subtitle/remix/edit your covers?
~
A. please don't re-upload or re-subtitle our videos!! you can use the audios in your own videos as long as you credit back to us and as long as you aren't profiting from it!!! please don't reupload our covers onto services like spotify either, due to copyright it could get us in huge trouble if spotify thinks that we're the ones doing it!!!!!..

Q. how do you get covers out every week?
~
A. we have a backlog of covers done!! i usually do tuning + mixing first and then the video art, and while utatanep1ko edits the videos i start on the vocals for the next cover, and eventually it piles up to around a few weeks worth of covers that are ready in advance!! it works slightly differently when we do vocaloid covers vs synthv covers but you get the general idea!

Q. can i collaborate with you?
~
A. we don't usually do collabs unfortunately!!! very rarely we have good friends of ours offer to do small pieces of art in our videos, but we're not really looking to do any full-on collabs at the moment!

Q. do you make money off of your covers?
~
A. no, none of our covers have been or ever will be monetized

Q. do you do requests for songs to cover?
~
A. if you want, you can send asks to my tumblr inbox with suggestions for songs for me to cover, but i'm not guaranteed to do any songs unless i really like the song !!

A. yes!! of course!! i love to see art with my designs!! please @ or tag me in any art you do with my designs i wanna see it!! either on tumblr or youtube community posts preferably because i don't have any other social medias HGJDFJ!!!!

Q. can I use your V synth designs in my own covers or original songs?
~
A. you can as long as you credit the design to me, and as long as you don't make money off of something featuring my designs!!!

Q. can I use your V synth designs as inspiration for creating my own designs?
~
A. you can! but i would prefer it if you could mention/credit somewhere about the design inspiration especially if it's very noticeable, i put a lot of thought into each piece of my designs and they're all very special to me ,,,

Q. can I draw your V synth designs in ship art/ship them with other characters?
~
A. you can draw sfw ship art with my designs that i've explicitly mentioned that i headcanon as together (i.e, yuma x akito or feng yi x yi xi) but otherwise, no thank you!! my designs are very personal to me and i find it uncomfortable for my designs to be shipped with other synths etc

Q. can I yumeship (ship myself or my persona) with your V synth designs?
~
A. we would prefer this wasn't done with yuma or akito, as they're both very personal to us as characters and we use them as our icons on social media ;; but generally it is fine to yumeship with any of our other designs!!

Q. can I draw nsfw with your V synth designs?
~
A. please do not!

Q. how old are your V synth designs?
~
A. all my vocal synth designs are adults unless i state otherwise!! feel free to ask me about individual ages through tumblr asks!!

Q. can i ask about your headcanons for your V synth designs?

A. of course!!! you can send me asks on my tumblr about headcanons !!

Q. can i make merchandise of your V synth designs?
~
A. only merch for personal use!!! i.e if you're making a charm of yuma to hang off your own bag, that's completely fine!!! but please don't sell merch or mass produce merch featuring my designs!!
